The Museum holds many educational, popular-science and artistic events, making full use of the available space – its exhibition rooms, the handsome Orangery with its exceptional acoustics, the basement with a fireplace, and best of all, the large and atmospheric Museum Garden. The Museum also often ventures outside its walls making ingenious use of urban space or adjusting flexibly to outdoor settings during open days, fairs and other open-air events.
Next to exhibitions, educational activities, scholarly talks and concerts, the Museum offers to its visitors research-informed performances, theatre performances and workshops for children, teenagers and adults which incorporate in their formula elements of archaeology, culture and art. The Museum team makes every effort to have these events on the highest level.
